If I run a 12V dc fan through 2.5 amp adapter will it save electricity mean will it will take 30 watt

 

That depends on what your adapter does to the voltage and how much the fan would normally draw with a 12 volt power supply.

 

so Should i check through clamp meter how much watt it is taking
