Im doing exp on A/D converter in PIC 16f877, i wrote some code n also did the hardware circuit. But i could not get the result.Can anyone giv me suggestions about how to proceed.I unable to find whether the problem is in hardware r programming.

Post your code and a schematic so we can follow along.

 

By default comparators are active, if you do not disable them those pins won't read A/D's. If this isn't the problem do as beenthere suggested.
