Have a 220 3 phase motor trying to get working. The wiring is easy. But when I turn it on the motor sounds like its spinning up, but is not moving. Sorta a noisy type of sound, more vibration type of sound. VFD is a cheap A2 series, the typical ones you see on ebay. Went though the programs didn't change much. should I change all hthe 400hz to 60? sems the videos I have watched leave these alone

What kind of motor, 2 pole?, 4 pole?400Hz motor?
Running off of 1ph?
Have you tried running from the keypad?

Will double check but 1100 rpm , not 1725 like most

 

That smacks of a 6 pole motor on 60Hz.
Unusual but should not be impossible for VFD use.

ok had speed control set to pot, changed to panel and works. always something simple and overlooked. thanks
