A replacement for this IC part?

Hi all,

Im looking for a replacement of this IC controlling the brakes of an articulated robot arm.
Help is ppreciated.

I could not find a definitive part. There are a few possibilities from Richtek.
RT9013 series LDO regulator
RT8010 series buck converter
RT8016 series buck converter
RT8025 series buck converter

Any idea how I can determine the right part?
I think trial and error might nit be the right choice.

If you cannot find an inductor on the board, I would tend to think that an SMPS chip would be unlikely. The best way to be sure it to reverse engineer the schematic of the board. The alternative is to purchase some potential replacements and see if they have the same markings

There are two ICs on that board that are similar, B4W and AGW.

If you show us a wider view of the board and told us the make and model of the unit and what is the function of the board we would have more information. For example, what is powering the board? What are the required voltages entering the board and powering the devices and motors?

I am going to guess that the two ICs are linear voltage regulators. There is most likely an MCU on the PCB that requires 3.3VDC or 5VDC.
