WBahn is a good choice if they are looking for moderators. If they are not, I suspect WBahn would remain doing what he does best for this forum ...

I sometimes get hyper-focused, and even (dare I say it) emotional about some of the absurd things typed into this site. So does WBahn.

I certainly wouldn't want me for a moderator.
Draw your own conclusions about WBahn.
There is a good chance that the other Mods can smooth out his rough edges.
I would depend a lot on the other Mods to help me if I had that job.

Hello,

@#12 , we do have a separate forum where the staff (moderators and administrators) can discuss some stuff happening on the forum.

I think we have a good balanced number of staff at this moment.

If a new moderator would be needed, the person in mind will be contacted in a personal conversation.

WBahn is a valuable contributor to AAC forums and I suspect he would like to keep it that way.

Because AAC has to cover all time zones, it would be nice to see more overlap with representation from the Asia-Pacific zones on the moderation team.

You and tcmtech! Both of you get me to read your posts, just for fun. :D
I used to do the same for AudioGuru. When he was banned here, I followed him on some other sites. from what I have been reading, he is either on some "nice pills" or something else softened his heart. That being said, his entertainment value went way down but his technical value is as good as ever.

tcmtech and Joeyd999, please do not take any personal advice from audioguru.

I hear you guys on some issues.... I am stilling learning electronics and have alot of basic questions that I should know already.. But I see where alot get pissed cause I am a mechanical engineer type and for me its like breathing even with most complex problems .. It just really frustrates me with some of what I would consider some of the dumbest question ever..

Never taken his advice, but I have lightened up over the past few years. I don't think I've had a good argument here in quite some time.

Mostly, I now tend to ignore threads that I know, if I jump into them, will cause heads to start to roll.

This is unfortunate, because my mind usually works best when I take an adversarial position. Unlike most here, I actually enjoy heated arguments.

My, "Ignore" list might be the largest on this site. It is one of the secrets to my success, that and learning not to jump into threads asking about things for which I have very little knowledge. This blissful ignorance makes my time here kind of like being a happy idiot.

Thank you but...I am regularly humbled by other people on this site. Even you.
Everybody has different specialties. The best I can do is refrain from demonstrating which ones I don't know about.
