I making a something with my neighbour and I chose to make it automatic. So what I have is 9v motor that needs to spin for about 15-20 seconds. I would prefer to use a 555 timer IC since that is what I have on me. Using a kit/set I built a timer circuit that runs a LED for 20 seconds, but the power going to the LED is 1.8v and i need a constant 9v for 15-20 seconds. I would also prefer this timer circuit to run off of a 9v battery.

So is there a timer circuit that will do want I want.
P.S. I am building it on a breadboard

Thanks :D

On the timer circuit I have now I found a spot that has 6.3V for 20 seconds which is even better so this post is [RESOLVED] :D :D

The output of a 555 timer should get closer to the supply voltage.

When asking for circuit help, post a schematic.

You can edit the title of the post so you don't get more unwanted help.
