ok guys, i bought 10 of the snapper branded briggs straton 82 volts power packs. they are made by the same factory that mkes 80 volt greenworks batteries. amazon sells this 80v Battery to 120v AC 2500w Inverter Power Station Solar Panel Ready whick is a portable chassis with an inverter to work with the greenworks batteries. since i will be making my own, can anyone tell me if a normal 48v to 110v solar inverter can be converted or do i need to buy some parts and make my own...remember 82volts dc to desired 110v ac..thanks everyone

remember, i am going from 82 to 110 not 80...thanks

The chances of reliably modding a 48v inverter to run on 80v is very low. Apart from a probable transformer change, as suggested, you are doubling input voltage and halving input current so probably other parts will need changing, eg current sense resistors, current setting resistors for voltage regulators, possibly the VRs themselves.

80 or 82v, makes no difference, battery voltages are a range from fully charged to discharged so 80v and 82v are probably the same product; The inverter you linked to is 62 - 90v input.

This sort of mod is akin to designing your own - if you have to ask, chances are you don't have the knowledge or expertise to do either without a lot of pain.
