Hello again,
First i have looked into this. i have a 4 channel setup. 433 or 315Mhz. I understand it makes use of and encoder/decoder setup to turn the single signal sent by a normal rf link using these modules, into four. Without becoming an expert on encoding and decoding i/c's. just hoping someone can answer for me... whats the common practice for adding more channels to an identical setup.

some of you guys have seen them im sure.
should i use an encoder/decoder pair that has more channels?
i looked into the encoder/decoder that i currently am using. the "PT2262" it seems from the diagram

that the amount of available channels are 4. and they are full. i have heard the 5th channel simply indicates. could that tie into another encoder? do people use two encoders like the one im using to double the channels or do they simply buy one with more channels? is there a diy solution to doing this? one that will not require waiting for specific chips to come in the mail that is. if thats what it will require no problem i just wanna know. thanks in advance!!
