interesting video magnet... those axial capacitors were just like firecrackers....and after visiting the provided link...it is safe to say that they are shot...as the light was more intense when tried again...as for my circuit ith the 555...i tried to change resistors to see if i could stop the (pre-light) before the flash..but to no avail..oh well..any other ideas toas why the light in the circuit doesnt flash cleanly on..im getting a bunch of CD4017 and 555's tomorrow...gonna try using those two....thanks again everyone for helping...
