So this is the schematic that I had chosen.
I tried it several times with this breadboard simulator and it doesnt seem to work. I know there must be a tiny, stupid mistake but I dont find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you choose the right resistors?
The 1K looks like a 10K to me and the 470k looks like a 470 to me.

That 470k resistor specified by the schematic sure looks like a 470Ω resistor!

I disagree re: the other resistors. They appear to be 1k.

It is not blinking, it is not working. Polarized or non doesn't matter. The LED is blinking too fast to see.
