Hi,

I am looking for 512k(64k x 8) nvram, but can't seem to source it. Does anybody have a link, assuming it exists?

I found SPI chips, but I can't find parallel sram as nvram.

p.s. I have this: ds1230y 256k(32k x 8) nvram.

Have you considered using SRAM with battery backup?
Also, don't ignore a flash memory card.

 

I had some samples of FRAM with parallel interface, but I have no idea if they still make them.

Thanks, Mr. Chips, yes I have thought of that but if you have to swap from arduino programmer to computer circuit it is not easy, at least until I make a circuit for loading a program from other media to battery backed up ram (in-circuit programming).

Thanks, I saw those. Probably I will just take a 28c512 eeprom and put a battery backup with it, like Mr. Chips suggested.

You are right I meant to say 62512 RAM. I find that disabling Software data protection on EEPROMS is alot of trouble.
