Hy guys,
I have to design a 50kV flyback with negative voltage at output, with the secondary applied to an hexa-coil with parallel resonance.
I checked none is available in commerce. So I shall adapt something with positive polarity and I suppose I have to change polarity of the protection diodes and it is not enough...Can you support me about?

 

I need a +10 and -10 supply, and I've only got a 10v 2A wall wart. ……………… ~400mA of current

Beware - this is a necro-post. The original thread is long dead, and now someone new is asking how to build a 50kV negative supply.

*** EDIT: Now that it's been moved to its own thread, I guess the -50kV question is no longer necro!
