Hi All,
I am trying to build a capacitor bank to get a high inrush current of at least 50A for at least the first cycle.
This is for an experiment. I found the following IEEEC37.99. Which is supposed to get the inrush calculation.
I(max) = 1.414 * V * Sqrt(C / L)
Not sure if this is the right way. Got a result to use 100mF capacitor to achieve this. This is the right way to do this?
