I am trying to wire an electric motor to turn a gear. power is coming from a 5 way switch, and I want to use pin 1 and 6 to engage the motor in opposite polarities. I am trying to do this over common wires to the motor. can anyone help with the setup/schematic to do this?

 

What is pin 1 and 6? You may have forgotten to tell us. A picture would help and a schematic diagram of the switch even more.
