I am trying to build a very basic Linear solar regulator that can charge a 63 Ah battery from a 50 Watt solar panel. The Battery powers a 10 Watt LED flood light.
I want the LED light only to come on once the solar panel is no longer conducting. When the sun rises and the solar panel starts to charge it is to switch the light off.
Basically what I have done is copy 2 circuits from different projects and hopefully joined them correctly.
I have built the regulator before and that side seems to work fine. The switching of the relay is new to me. From what I have read, U@ when the voltage on B1 is less than A1 the comparator is off and the relay switches off.
I am wanting to know if my thinking around this is correct and that I will achieve what I hope to.
I have seen that you can buy a regulator with this kind of switch but I actually want to make my own. I learn by building and fault finding on projects
