Hi, im new

i need help figuring out what goes on in a 4 bit comparator chip, the 74LS85 chip.
i need to know what gates are used.

Try and find Motorola's TTL Data Book. It should be online somewhere (I have the PDF here -- it's ~8mb). Attached is the logic diagram & truth table for the 74LS85 from the book. Also attached is the pinout for the logic symbols they use (ie, which pin is A3, A2, etc.). Hope it helps.
