Hi, electronic circuits are more or less black magic to me. I somehow managed to do the previous tasks I had to do but unfortunately the one I have now is somewhat beyond me

I have to create parrarel adder capable of adding two 4 bit numbers using 4 bit adder. The outcome should be read out from the registry in parrarel method (Im not sure if i translated this correctly)

Equipment-
4 invert gates
2 NAND (2 entrances)
8 EX-OR (2 entrances)
74164 x2
74165 x 2
7483 (one bit adder) x1
74175 x1
74198 x 1
7475 x1
7495 x1


I will be insanely greatful for help

 

What have you done so far?

If you look at the datasheet of 7483, it is a 4-bit full adder by itself.

I think he may be confusing parallel with serial. Based on how he described the output as being "read out".
