you know those little plastic cases that hold 2 AA batteries in series and have a red and black lead.... they are used in little electronics projects....where can you get them online??

If you order from Futurlec, expect a delay of a month or more before your parts arrive. Communicating with employees of Futurlec was difficult for me, as their primary language is not English.

Your local Radio Shack should stock battery holders of various configurations. They won't be cheap, but you can get them quickly. You can also order them from the Radio Shack site.

You can also order from Digikey.com, Mouser.com, Jameco.com, Electronic Goldmine, and many other suppliers that are located in the USA.

 

I got it from US only site.... 35 cents a piece was more for the shipping stupidly was using this to measure woodstove pipe temps
160 to 240 F range

 

Well, you'll get in trouble pretty quickly trying to use an LMT36 for measuring woodstove pipe temperatures. You'll really need a thermocouple for such high temps.

 

wrong these are for 1 inch away from insulated double wall pipe....average temps
are 160F-200F.. 200 would be extreme... inside pipe is way different.

 

Radio Shack also has them.
