Do we have 3D models of Xilinx FPGA. I am just wondering if I can get step files for kintex FPGA.

 

The Component Search Engine tool can get you schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and 3D STP files for a huge number of components. You'll need to create a free account to use it, but you should be able to find the specific version of the FPGA you're looking for. Here's an example for Xilinx XC7K70T-1FBG484C FPGA.

Xilinx dont provide them,
they do have good docs as to the package,
generlay a simple rectangle is all one needs,

 

Look at GrabCAD website- many free models of chip packages there.
But you might not find theses crazy BGA packages so easily.

 

As far as I know, they are not open-source.

 

The ones on Component Search Engine frequently have the BGA packages fully modeled, and are, as I mentioned, free. Some are company-provided, while others are community-provided or "expert provided."
