Hi.
I am looking at implementing a 3-phase IGBT bridge rectifier like shown in the image. When there is nothing connected to the gates this behaves like a regular diode bridge. Say I want to turn the bridge off by turning all the IGBT's off the diodes will still conduct. Is there a way to turn them completely off. If not i fail to see the benefits of using them like this?
Thanks.
