Completed charger might be cheaper than finding the supply and building a charge controller.

This could get into a "hard spot" with line powered items and forum rules, with the desired current, it could be just an isolation transformer, rectification and filtering, followed by a combination buck converter/charge controller.

To charge a battery, one shud know the battery.

 

batterys are SLA 12v 7.2ah, in packs 10 wired for 24v. 9 packs wired series parallel (72v).

Why not charge them individually? Charging them all at the same time will result in some "topping off" before others, cutting the charge cycle short, making the problem worse.

Similar problem as multiple LiPo cell packs. Run taps to each battery and use 9 good battery chargers on them?

 

9 battery chargers is Heavier & bulkier than one (on board EV) charger.
Onless very compact & in single housing.

Call it crezy if it is, I have just goten an idear of useing 1 charger switching (rapidly) sequentially to each pack.

It seems u have two battery packs.

So can tell me the total capacity of each set. The total current and Voltage
