Certainly the "Andersen Power Pole" connectors are very good products, no question about that. However, it would be difficult to find another suitable connector that was more expensive. AND, unless one plans on soldering on the actual connection pins, a rather expensive crimping tool is also required. Given that the wiring installation is probably intended to stay in place for quite a while, quick connectors will be a minimal benefit. It will be better to either use solder and shrink tube, or the crimp-on splices that run about $0.25 each in reasonable quantities.

So far we do not know the device current nor the device voltage, nor if it is an inside wall or an outdoor brick wall. I did see "five amps" mentioned but was that "less than 5 amps" or "It draws five amps." AND, a lot depends on what part of the world the TS is working in.Sweden is quite different from rural THAILAND, both are different from Mexico.
