Amazing - about 350,000 people. That’s like Northeastern Wyoming fielding a team and qualifying for the World Cup.

The US National Team has a pool of people 1000x bigger to filter and select the perfect team and coaching staff. An amazing feat.

Only in the years there is not a world cup team. There are only so many athletes on the island.

 

And the U.S. didn't qualify... and neither did Chile, nor Holland...

 

But Mexico did! ... let's see how we fare... we've never been beyond quarter-finals...

Not an official one but I think there are some guys who practice rugby though. I myself ruined at least one pair of jeans when I was eleven or twelve playing rugby.

Well we do have a mushroom that grows here called berserker mushroom. Apparently the hallucinations and the toxic effects are so extreme/bad that not even drug users touch it.
