Hello everyone,
I am designing a 2.4 GHz receiver on FR4 1.6mm substrate. I have run into the issue that the trace width needs to be 3mm in order to be 50 Ohms. This seems to be very wide in comparison to the components I have used and their pads. Will I run into any issues? Could anyone pass along any information with my thoughts?

I presume you have calculated or used an app to calculate the width? I expect your calculation is based on a 2-layer PCB with the ground on the bottom layer and your 50R on the top.

Try this site, you can reduce W to reduce the width of your 50R track.
