If you want to push UP to turn on (or off depending on region) in any location, it's doable but not with just wires and you'd be using a SPDT momentary rocker type switch with some electronics (smarts) to enable/disable a relay controlling the switch.

Sorry, I don't understand your problem.

You wish to control the light from either switch, i.e. you want to turn the light on/off at one switch without having to go to the other switch.

Does it not do that?

Stop. You are not doing anything wrong.

Your statement is inconsistent.
You state:

it only goes on if i switch both switches to the same way

That implies that the light is off when the two switches are in opposite positions.
Is that correct?
