the industry term is peckerhead. Ask any electrician for the location of the peckerhead and they will know. And according to the OP the manufacturer won't give them the information.
That is a local slang term, not sure where your locality is, but I have not heard it in any of the local areas where I have worked on systems including motors. And it would not have been accepted in anyof the auto plants I have visited.

I suggest, for the benefit of those participants who are not familiar with such colorful slang, that we use the more correct term of "Junction Box" or even "J-Box" for short.

What do you mean colorful? Just always heard and used the term to mean specifically cable entry on a motor. I have never heard it referred to as junction box though. Well now I have, just not before now. Wierd

Look in an actual manufacturer's motor catalog that provides actual descriptions of the motor and it will give actual dimensions for either the "cable entry enclosure or the cable junction box. And it seems that even the national electrical code lists the required inside dimensions of the cable entry box, also called the junction box.

Using cute slang terms to confuse outsiders delivers no benefit, really.

That was the pressure switch not the junction box. The manual shows the pressure switch attached to the side of the junction box. Unless I'm looking at the drawing wrong.

Tom hometown did you ever get this figured out? I have the same pump and one of the terminals on the voltage selector switch is burnt so I'd like to wire it for full time 230 service also.
