I need help. I need to generate a 1000-100 Nano second negetive pulse using an RC circuit. When it is not generating a pulse, I need it to be positive. The smallest capacitor I have is polarized and has 100nF (I'm sorry. I didn't check if they were polarized before buying). The smallest resistor I have is 22 ohms. I'm stuck and I need this for my science fair project. Any advice is useful.

1000-100ns? Do you mean 900ns? or what?
What triggers the pulse?
And you will need a smaller capacitor than 100nF.

An RC circuit isn't likely to work. Most digital devices don't like slowly changing signals.

What other devices do you have available?
