i want to swap LEDs 1 and 4.
i placed them in current arrangement due to lack of overhead voltage for STRING 2.
i'm limited to 12 volt supply and have some voltage loss through customer's poor switches and connections.
voltage drop across D3 and D5 causes STRING 2 to run out of voltage. yes, i'm already using schottkys.
is there a way to do this?
thanks

Replace those diodes with low Rdson MOSFETS. Would take some
circuit design to control their gates.

Regards, Dana.

i tried to put a Pfet in place of D3 and D5 but my feeble mind won't let me hook up the gate in a way that i think will work.
and if the fet is turned on, will current go through at zero voltage drop instead of through the body diode?
and i'm still open to other methods to solve my problem.
thanks

Off Topic:
hi Jose,
That is nice and clear.;)
As personal preference to suit my tired old eyes, I make a negative of the image.

ok, i'll do it this way from now on.
changed the background color in diptrace.
i'm old too and black seems to be easier on my eyes.
best thing i've done is upgrade to 43" monitor but i sit in recliner 4 feet away.
eyes ain't hurt since.
thanks
