Hi guys, i was asked to do a 00-60 timer using 2 digit 7 display segment. I was a network student and i dont have any idea on how to make it. I followed a schematic which was found here on the forum http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/threads/counter-circuit-00-to-60-plus-reset.108995/. can anyone help me for the schematic and parts that i need to use. Thank you.

 

It can be done using cmos or ttl counter chips, like the Cd4026, Cd4511

This circuit counts up from zero to 99 and repeats, just adding a clock inhibitor at 60 will solve your problem.

What do you mean adding a clock inhibitor at 60? sorry im quite ilterate when it comes to this.
