analog optocoupler

I'm looking to isolate a charging circuit (buck boost) from it's control circuit but am unsure of using an analog optocoupler. When I look at teh data sheets for them they seem to translate a voltage on one side to a current on the other. Is there a way to put a voltage on one side and get a scaled (but still linear) voltage out the other side? Thanks for the help!

Simply put a resistor in series with the opto's transistor, across your control supply.
As the opto current increases, the voltage across the resistor increases in proportion. A 10K resistor could be a good starting point & change value if that does not work.
