The question is quite simple. There are two voltages, but there is only one net potential difference. Subtract the lowest voltage from the highest to find it.
After that, it is a simple series circuit. There is a drop across the diode which affects the voltage across the resistor. Once you work that out, it is obvious what the total current is, and the rest of the answers become easy.
