This is a fantastic list and resource. I have a P95 and tried changing out the C112, C216 and C217 capacitors. Still the same lack of sound output, but MIDI still registers in my computer. Any suggestions on next steps? I saw that some visitors changed all capacitors. I am willing to try that, too, but would appreciate any words of wisdom that might be shared.

Welcome to AAC!

Can you find a schematic for your device? That would give us something to analyze.

I tried but all of the P95 documents I've been able to find only have the first 3 dozen pages of the manual. The P85 document posted on AAC has schematics.

Hi all. The comments about lacking a P95 schematic are correct. Another poster in a previous list had included a copy of the P85 manual and it was very helpful. There is no schematic, but there is a parts list. You can find it in the thread https://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/...-95-sound-problem-speakers-headphones.140229/ . I am going to pull the card and use the parts list to prepare a capacitor replacement list and pick them up from a local electronics parts store. What fun, what fun...
