I cannot think of anything I could do on Win 95 that I can't do under Linux via Wine or VM. Including Doom. Heck, Doom runs native on Linux.
Are you asking me? I don't use LTspice, but my understanding is that it runs fine under Wine.

@crutschow , both LTSpice IV as LTSpice XVII do work fine using wine on linux.
I am not very well in it, but I can run the posted .asc files, when they have the right components used.
