By the way, though I used MacOS < 10, I really disliked it. I had to use it professionally, and at the time I substituted Windows NT whenever I could. The problem is, I was working with graphic designers, and although Adobe's products actually ran better under NT, the designers were not very technically agile and it was a burden for many of them, so Macs stayed.

 

Also IIRC Heath/Zenith PC's did not require the (IMO) Stupid idea of splitting the floppy drive ribbon cable to address 2 drives, the Zenith kept it intact and used all four address lines and the jumper on each drive.
Someone must have stayed up all night thinking that one up.
