Hi everyone. I've taken on another new hobby -ham radio- and it is making me want to learn more about electronics.
Way to go!!! Great hobby and welcome to AAC.

You will find a lot of hams here, including myself. It's a great way to learn more about electronics.

Hi all, i've experimented with electronics from a very young age. At the moment would like to learn more on bipolar motors. Have ordered the L298n IC with the intention of connecting to a salvaged motor from a CD/DVD.

Hi, I am Justin. I'm senior in Electrical Engineering, in James Clark School of Engineering in University of Maryland.
I'm focusing on VLSI design specialized in robotics.

i am about to be graduate with little or no knowledge about electronic/electrical stuff . and i wish to make my stay here completely useful and learn as many things as possible

Hi everyone,

I am a materials scientist turned into physicist and working on semiconductor device simulations lately. Hoping to learn something new here and will be happy to exchange ideas. I posted today a thread on an issue I faced while using SILVACO TCAD, to simulate a metal semiconductor junction.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Matt. I was introduced to this website, using the Textbooks and Videos, for a few Electrical Fundamentals classes, at the local Community College I attended, up in Michigan. And, I recently got a job at a Vintage Recording Equipment Tech Shop, and so I'm needing to re-introduce myself with some Math and Fundamentals, and Random Information, here and there. I'm thrilled to be apart of a community of like-minded individuals.

Thanks very much,
-Matt

I'm an old bloke from Tasmania who is getting into lifepo4 systems and would like to build a custom solar charge controller that charges individual cells lines, balances them and controls charge/ discharge rates.

I'm mathematically challenged so need practical understanding of circuits and technicalities. But hope to get to the point where I can build my own circuits for controlling solar and other charge/discharge systems, as we are self sufficient in fuel and close to being so with energy. It's just the control systems I lack to make life much easier. So my interest in electronics.

My other main interest is in open source computing and multimedia production, being a muso the development of linux has opened up state of the art production to everyone and for free.
