Hey everyone. I'm a 17-year-old high school senior, and I plan to study chemical engineering
at Auburn University upon graduation. I've always had a passion for learning, but I realize now
that I have very little practical knowledge about how the machines I use every day actually work
(pretty sure "magic" is not the answer). So I'm here to change that!

This site looks to have a myriad of great resources. I'm only on the fourth chapter
of the first volume (DC), but I've already increased my understanding of electricity as
the material is top notch and easy to understand. I'm looking forward to learning more
about electricity and electronics, and who knows, maybe I'll gain enough knowledge
to work on some projects of my own!

 

Ah..here's one now. Please post your technical questions in a technical forum, like, "Chat". Very few people look here to answer questions.

I am a total electronics newbie who has embarked on a group sound electronics project to be presented in March 2015 at an alternative Vision and Sound Festival in Helsinki. I am part of the local sound electronics group and we have been doing some workshops which will lead to an interconnected group sound machine.
