Hello every I am happy to join this group....

I am engineering student wanting to learn more about circuits....

I have question for you all.....

please tell me the device which can not only measure but also supply the difference of electricity to the load.
i thought about comparator but it is not suitable for 230v(it will burn...pufff!!!!!:))

or something that can change voltage into displacement (not LVDT--it changes displacement to voltage!!)

please reply because i am in the middle of the project and require this type of component

see ya:):)

Wrong forum to ask this, take it to general electronics chat. It sounds like you want a voltage regulator, with a buck boost. But don't discuss this here, take it there.

A color blind computer technician, I wanted to do electronics in the Navy, but spent 12 years as a Hospital Corpsman. I'm working on learning electronics/robotics and Python with several Raspberry Pi's... At 60, I'm still in business!

I'm an undergrad in chemistry at Purdue with very little electronics experience under my belt. I'm currently taking an analytical class that's all about instrumentation, so I figured I might as well join the forum to learn more about circuits :D

Hello,

I'm currently finishing up my BS in Electrical Engineering about Boise State University. When I graduate my plan is to begin working at a local memory manufacturer, Micron, and return BSU for my Master's degree a year later. My current focus is in semiconductors, and primarily in NAND memory. I used to manage the data collecting system of a "green" land speed racing vehicle that ran off of raw vegetable oil. That project started from a student club and has now evolved into a non-profit organization called Greenspeed Research.

I am an Electrical Engineer with MS in Electrical Engineering Wayne State University, working for Continental Automotive Systems as Hardware Design Engineer. I like the field, it's fun and challenging, some times at least. Currently leaving in Michigan. I may or may not pursue PhD, but only time and cost will decide that. I have to weigh the Pros and Cons of doing that, of course along with having a new family with baby boy. So go figure. I am also in the music industry, I currently play in a band (Drummer) and also studying Clarinet as my academic instrument, meaning I am studying music using the Clarinet as my instrument.

I like this site, it covers all of material in all kind of engineering aspects. I am glad I came across this site. Peace out folks and looking forward to chatting with you.

Hi All,

I'm a hobbyist and a newby learning electronics for fun but it has to have practical use. I'm currently playing around with PIC microcontroller and "JAL" and some discrete circuit design. Hope to find an answer or two on this great looking forum and hopefully in the future help some others out.

I all, i am thumb2, I am a student of telecommunication and electronics engineering but I also work as embedded firmware developer and I play with some circuit sometimes, I also like to make my own circuits as hobby..

I read the forum sometimes, so it's nice to enjoy the community.

See you on the forum. :)

Hello Everyone!

I am tech enthusiast. I have decided to learn everything that is known to men about electricity. I made this goal as I see electricity to be the most important source of energy right now and become even more important in future.

My full-time job is running a SEO and web development company, but soon I would like to get in building stuffs.

I am very glad that I found this website early in my learning process.

Hi, i am father of 4 creative kids, last time i did electrics and electronics was . .... 20 years ago already apparts from fixing a few wall sockets. Mechanical engineer from trade i have gained respect for all science and take every opportunity to understand how things work. This gives me a chance to engage with kids on naive futuristic projects, my spouse would add irrealist, utopist and expensive...
I always had fascination for capturing human power and recently (reached 45+) discovered how useful it is to exercise in order to keep up with kids and control waistline. Recently managed to put my hand on pedal generator ref https://www.k-tor.com/ (120vDC or with the adaptor 12v DC 20W output) and keen to try pratice some old ideas.
I am glad i have found this forum, you may see i am not a specialist but still curious, i am trying to help my kids school project victim of the ideas i passed on to them with regards to green energy. I know from the business I am in that fossil fuel gets harder and harder to reach at the same time demand will probably increase for a while let alone that used the way we do those fossil fuel motors that fill our kives seem to generate lots of wasted heat, telling me it may not be the most effective use of mother nature legacy.
Thanks for the time I may have from the forum members. Although I use it every day at work, I already apologise that English is not my mother tongue, i probably maxed out my level after 20 years wading in it, my wording may not be perfect and I'll endeavor to clarify all misleading phrasing.
Thanks for your attention
Kind regards
Francois
