Hey Guys, I am from India. I have a Diploma in applied electronics and instrumentation engineering and I am also pursuing Batchelor's degree in Electronics and instrumentation

 

Hi everyone! I hope to be starting the instrumentation and controls program next year. I studied renewable energy engineering at Oregon Tech a few years ago but put that on hold for my wife's career. I came to this forum to reignite my passion for electronics and programming. I love this site and think it's an amazing work of passion by everyone.

I would like to ask what an effective strategy might be for reengaging myself in this field. I'm thinking I should just pick a build project that'll be fun and help motivate theoretical studies. What does everyone else think? Thanks!

Hello everyone, I retired several years back from a career as an Avionic Technician. As long time electronic hobbyist built a few Heath Kits, designed and made operational several projects. One of more interesting one was developed a CDI system for a Honda CX 500 motorcycle. Now days I play with Radio Control model airplanes. My planes have my own designed electrical system using a single LiPo battery with 3 buck voltage regulators, a MOSFET power switch and a pulse discriminator circuit to control ignition power to gas engine. The interface harness looks like it belong in a full size plane
I will see if there is anything I can contribute to the forums. My current project needs help, Ill post in the proper section.

Machinist by day, self teaching electronics. Trying not to flat line mysel playing with HV circuitry

 

I did my senior thesis project on the phase transformations of SiN using DTA (differential thermal analysis). Absorption of specimen of energy imparted without rise in temp. indicates a phase change. It was fun to plot ones own phase diagram but time consuming generating data points. I'm a bit rusty now... pun intended

My name is Yaşar Arabacı. I am a senior student of economics in Bilkent University (Turkey) and self proclaimed programmer. Nowadays I temporarily work at a movie theather as a projectionist.

I am trying to learn electronics as a new (hopefully inexpensive) hobby. I have started reading Volume 1 (Direct Current) of the textbooks on the main page. One day I would like to build myself a custom remote controlled kettle so that I don't have to use my leg muscles anymore.
