I have ac, the motor resistances check good and there is no resistance to ground.
I replace the start relay, cap assy, with a Supco 3 "N 1 Start.

Now the compressor starts and runs a little over 20 seconds and then,
what I expect is the overload relay kicks out and the compressor stops.
Any ideas of what else I can check?

There should be a wiring diagram on a cover plate or something that would be helpful too. It may end up being a mechanical issue such as a sticking valve, plugged line, or worn compressor though.

 

I would be checking the compressor current draw at startup.
