My plan is to make a module to monitor people coming in building , I have planned to use distance sensor on stairs and as soon as it gets trigerred I will use my old phone to trigger it's camera and click a photo or record a certain timed video and WhatsApp that video/photo to me
My question is how can I make Arduino to trigger click/ record a video on the phone and send me on WhatsApp.
I'm thinking of using WiFi module but open to suggestions

 

An Arduino is a microcontroller, this concept calls for a more muscular computer like a Raspberry Pi or ESP32.
