HI
I need to design a product which has a small LCD under 640*480, touch, Ethernet.

So what kind of processor should I use? I used to design old way like call bmp files but this time I want to make with more fancy looking so let me know if you have some tools or library to recommend.

My point is
Which company's MCU is strong for control graphic LCD now days?
Which core should I use?
Do you have any tools you recommend?

What is the budget for your LCD/controller portion of your product?

Does your display have a built in controller? Many do today so your processor just needs to send screen data once so it has time for other tasks.

What processor family do you use now? Using what you know is the st way to start.

I've done some useful work with Microchip PIC32 devices using their free compilers and graphic libraries.
