Try it and see what you get. You might find some useful tutorials or worked examples.

 

I think your old school text books and notes are a good place to start. (It is about 60 years since I left school so maybe you use online information rather than text books.)

These types of problems are easier if you've learned calculus: differentials and integrals. But a math student that is fluent in those skills would still be lost without the underlying physical principles that apply, things like ohm's law, the definitions of electrical terms and so on. A scientist with weak math skills can get by knowing a few workarounds or shortcuts.

"Story problems" seem to befuddle even the people that know both the math and the science. Bringing the two together and applying the math is the final hurdle that many folks never clear.

 

The first question has nothing to do with Math, and everything to do with how to do a simulation using a particular simulator. The simulator is a free download, but the how to use it documentation would test the patience of Job.
