What Im needing is something to keep my supra catheter ½" hose out of my wheelchair tires. Don't need strong, just big enough and cheap enough. Thanks guys.

You can get everything at Walmart, if you are willing to wait and pay for the "convenience:"


I sometimes wonder whether Walmart executives know what "silly" means?

 

Warning! A true carabiner is rated ~5000#. Keychain ones are not. They are mere lookalikes that have become popular with the yuppies. Be very careful if using under load that it is real.

 

Would a cord lock help? It might compress the Tygon tubing if used alone, but if you put a split tube over it (e.g., 3/16 aluminum or Teflon), there would be minimal compression yet a good positioning.

Those are common for climbers. I use 1/4" sized to keep lamp cords in order.

If it is too small, they make several sizes larger. At $2 per I can afford it.

 

That should work. Feed the catheter as an S through both sides.

 

Naw, just clip it to the chair frame, and clip the hose to the other side.

 

If it slips, just pass the tubing through both hooks (i.e., S-curve). That is a sure cure.
