I have been watching some videos of fires in US and I have heard in several of them "We have fire in the cock walk". Google gives me nothing useful.
Can anyone tell me what this means, please?

I think they are referring to the cockloft, which is a space between the top floor of a building and the roof. Essentially the attic in a typical building, but mostly building with a flat roof. Often used for running utilities and ventilation ducting. Fires in that space can spread quickly throughout a building.

Using radio language, a firefighter will confirm the order before using force along a specific type of small attic space.
The news journalist does not have the education in the fire science of buildings or emergency jargon. News is not accountable for repeating emergency radio transmission. The news company gives reporters ease dropping equipment plus. The masses believe whatever the news says.
The radio communication is concise and coded. Not meant for non emergency persons including news to some degree.
The term along with it's context would not likely include the history of fighting chickens, More likely pertinent to fire fighting.
