I got this tv as a repair and the problem is the ribbon cable is fired and it power the back light leds. They sell replacement cables but I am trying to see if there is a better way. The cable is a 12 pin flat flex 40" cable.

What do you want that's "better"? I'd buy the cable, or one that can substitute easily.

I tried finding one but came up empty.. These tvs have issues with burning these ribbon cables up so I was hoping someone would a better way to repair it ??
