Hi. I'm making a doorbell that generates waterfall sound instead of chimes or ding dong. I know there are several UM66 IC which make different sounds upon excitation but i can't find one for flowing water specifically or any sort of water sound. Any suggestions on how i can make this?

You could use a sound IC say ISD1100 and record your own water fall sounds from the web or buy a low cost MP3 player with SD card.
Pre record sounds.

Probably. The installer obviously put it in backwards. Swap the two tubular bits over so that you get the more conventional "DING DONG" .

Yes, it has two different length metal plates that are reversed but I like it because it is different

Yes, it has two different length metal plates that are reversed but I like it because it is different

And it is easy to tell whether the sound you here is your doorbell or one on the TV or radio.
