I have a feeling the AC adapter has gone bad-- I noticed a very faint burnt smell from the tip of the 4 pin connector. Cannot tell if that is due to a problem on the tablet's end or the adapter/cord. The LED on the power block still lights up though. I don't know if that is a reliable indicator that the adapter is still good, or if there is another way to test it. I have ordered a replacement AC adapter. Is there a way to test if the AC adapter has gone bad using a multimeter?

EDIT: Sorry, did not list the correct model # of the AC adapter in the title. It is STD-24050

 

So I just got the replacement AC adapter in the mail today. The Cintiq still will not turn on. Since it's out of warranty, I am about to disassemble the unit and attempt to figure out what's wrong. Could somebody help me troubleshoot?
