Situation: I bought a 2nd hand Vox AD15VT guitar amp not working thinking just a bit of soldering. I discovered it's 120v power supply (not 240v), how it got in Australia don't know.
Luckily i have a 500w step down transformer (240v to 115v) for my USA made '65 Fender Bandmaster 40w head amp, and, i found a power cord 'kettle' plug (Vox amp rear input) to American 3 pin (tranfrmr step down output).
Question: Is the power cord that i found suitable? it states 10A 125V on kettle plug end.
Thanks anyone.
