I had the privileged of fixing a tube for the first time in my life.
Quite happy for the fact I get to hear the sound of tubes and what the Beatles used to play with. And also the fact that I was the one who actually fixed it after the owner was running around the whole City and losing hope

 

wonderful technology. Built in days past when throw-away commodities were unimaginable.

 

I worked in an all-makes-all-models electronics repair shop in high school, and worked on a few of those guys. Mostly they were in to have the speakers rebuilt, but sometimes they needed other repairs and new empty-state devices. Very nice amp, the owners loved them.

The AC30 is a great amp! What was wrong with it?

 

Reverb Amp fault

 

Be careful. No Modifications that will affect air flow unless you increase the cooling effect! Those amps are famous for over-heating.
