voltage tripler in aac textbook

This in regard to voltage multipliers chapter given in the AAC textbook.

In the voltage tripler is Diode D3 connected to node 3 or is it connected to node 4.I think it is connected to node 4.Then shouldnt we have used a jumper as in the figure below, or am i going wrong somewhere???:confused:


When connection dots are used, jumpers are optional and are not generally used.

no sir i am talking about the jumper which should have been connected from diode D3 to node 4 (if I am correct).
Maybe i am not clear.
Hope the Red circle in the modified pictures help.







The jumper is supposed to be a semi-circle but I am not that good at editing pictures.Let me know if I dont make myself clear.

Ah, OK. I was so focused on seeing the same picture I thought had been corrected I wasn't really focused on anything else.
